Yesterday, I was terrified because Tornado warning and must take sheltered. I was getting to take a shower and ready for work, suddenly; cell phone warning! I grabbed my phone ran down stairs , grabbed a bottle of water and headed to the basement. I looked through the small window which covered with rain drops to see how heavy and strong wind. However, hard to see because of the rain drops blind the glass. I was searching info within the area and also Facebook if people posted about situation. Yes, I found several. Later, my husband texting me that they were sheltered at work too. I was scared! He replied that should done soon.
I think it took about 20 mins but I felt that so long.
The mother nature never gentle to anything or anyone only she pass by fast or hit hard.
Since I lived in Newark, Delaware, this was a second time which I sat in the basement in the past 12 years.
In my area does not hit hard as usual. What happened was heavy storm and rain. Moreover, I experienced earth quake twice that was a bit scared.
I was driving to work and came direct home as clouded outside which made me worried still.
I got up very late today at noon.
