D8 Christmas trip North Dakota visiting in-law family

 We got to the airport before 8am. The temperature
was 1f, 2f,-1f, snow cover everywhere. My hands were getting pain without gloves while running from the parking to the building. The bag drop counter does not open yet. Wait and Wait

Our flight came to gate on time and captain bounced that the MSP airport could not landed by the time we got there then must be delay. The captain flow the empty plan back there and turn around to pick up the passengers an hour later. When got to the destination flow over the air about 30 mins before got on the ground that cause us to miss the connecting flight and next next available one already cancelled.

It is rough taveling back home. We got to the 2nd airport and missed the flight, also the next available was cancelled. We got the next morning flight at 6 and stay a night in the MSP . We fly eco and be able to use Sky Lounge because we hold the credit card which accepted, no need to pay at all.

Travel in winter, the bad condition weather, heavy snow, freezing rain cause airlines delay and cancel unexpectedly.

We moved to another seat with a tall back rest like a booth. 

We could sleep here better than the single chairs. whole night

The lounge is closed then we moved to the gate and stay here till the morning.💤

We moved to another gate. It changed at 3am.

I always looked and checked on the screen if any changes and YES then I looked online, flight tracking to see which gate we would go. My husband lucky to have me 😜 I am good at searching for information.
