We went to ER

Sunday evening after supper at 5pm., my husband went to bed early and I kept checking on him constantly if he felt asleep. He was not in a good shape because of the hip pain. Outside was dark and I thought he might be ok as the past days but he walked to me in my computer room and requested to go to the ER. He could not sleep because of the bad pain tonight. Pain killers did not help and sleeping pill too. The ER was near like 5 minutes drive. We registered him and waited until someone called his name and led us to the checking room inside the unit.  The nurse asked about his symptoms and history also checked his temperature and blood pressure. We told her about his surgery schedule in coming July which she put in the record and walked out of the room. She said, "Someone will come in shortly". I guessed , she meant the doctor. 

He sat there quietly and I saw him yawn then asked if he felt sleepy but NO. We sat there awhile then I told him to lay back, put his back against the back rest but he laid down which cause the pain. He tried to adjust his position and laid down slowly, during that time a young man came in. He was a doctor. He talked to him and suggested that we should call to reschedule the surgery sooner. I thought that too and I told, if they did not have available time sooner, we may change and find the one that can do sooner. It was too bad for him to wait that long period. The doctor told us, he would let the nurse gave him a pain killer shot for tonight and the pain killer prescription too. The prescription can pick up tomorrow. Besides, he gave him a pad to put on the hip.

I have been seeing him in pain for several months and cannot do any better as I did. He has so much pain that I never seen. He had a surgery once when a bum came out of the belly but he did not show a sign of painful at all.
